Hi, I'm Margaret Kuipers
MY BACKGROUND
I am a lifelong South Dakotan with experience in farming, emergency medical services, emergency management, law enforcement, health care and owning a business. I served 14 years as the state treasurer for the South Dakota Emergency Medical Services Association, which represents paramedics, emergency medical technicians, and first responders who are all dedicated to patient health. I've also worked as a treasurer for several federal campaigns, making sure each candidate was fiscally responsible.
WHY I'M RUNNING
For decades, GOP policies have allowed fraud and abuse to run rampant in South Dakota, wasting millions of taxpayer money. I will be a responsible and transparent steward of the state's finances, making sure every tax dollar is accounted for. It's time to bring honesty and trust back into our state government.
